The immobility, often exaggerated, that happens after a traumatic osteoarticular event, is responsible for a “functional instability” of the concerned segment with early loss of motility and of muscle strength.
The manual mobilization, of a blocked articular district, performed by the therapist and suggested by the physiatrist, is an integral part of our rehabilitation protocols and is essential for a full recovery.

Functional re-education (28 min)
It is a very important phase of a rehabilitation protocol, especially after a joint trauma, that foresees a complex work both on the recovery of muscle strength and the joint mobility range , but mainly dependent on the proprioceptive system to control the stability during the movement: the aim is to fully restore the functionality of the area affected by the trauma.
